October’s market report for Stratford illustrates a continuation in real estate trends, especially a lack of inventory, which means It is a great time to sell your home. With the lack of inventory, the number of months it would take for the current inventory of homes on the market to sell given the current sales rate is at 1.8 months. The number of homes for sale declined and was at 140 for the month.

The median sales price continues to tick up slightly each month, with October’s sales price being $365,000.  The list / sale price percentage is still slightly over 100%, meaning we are still in a sellers’ market.  Although we are still in a sellers’ market, price reductions are still commonplace.
